What is a Pixel Laser Peel (Skin Resurfacing)
At Undercover Laser we use the Pixel hand piece to provide fractional ablative skin resurfacing. Sound scary? Don’t be afraid! This gradual procedure reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, photo damaged skin, and scars. Areas commonly treated are the face, neck, & chest. The technician, also, can direct energy deep into the skin to stimulate collagen production. Its like getting two procedures in one!
Is It Painful?
We have our clients control the Zimmer, our amazing cooling device, so they are completely comfortable during their treatment. Some clients feel a little heat, while others report feeling just the cooling. Clients will feel warm for the next few hours and will look pretty red. Many have said, It feels like a sunburn for a few hours and then its gone!
How Many Treatments Are Needed?
The number of treatments range from a single treatment to 5 treatments (depending on your skin concerns), at 4 weeks apart.
What Do I Do Before My First Appointment?
Stay out of the sun, keep hydrated, and come to the appointment with a completely clean face (no make-up, lotions, etc.). Post care instructions will be sent home with you. Products that help with healing include Aquaphor/Vaseline and white distilled vinegar. Have these prior to your treatment.
